We wish to thank Hugh Lee for all his years of participation in the Delhi Art Group, and for the time and talent he gave to instructing our painting class.  His gentle advice and encouragement  led many of us on to greater artistic expression, for which we will always be grateful.

Workshop--Art and the Web--The date has been changed to Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.  Please call Susan Priest

Chinese Brush Painting and Watercolor, Monday, September 29, 2008,

Delhi Harvest Festival--This festival will be on Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 9 AM-4 PM.  It coincides with Parent’s Weekend at SUNY, Delhi.  Set-up is at 8 AM.  Members are encouraged to join in the fun and profit.  The fee to participate with us is $10, payable to Delhi Art Group, and sent to Ann Law, 11646 State Hwy. 357, Franklin, NY 13775.  If you have any questions, call Sue Priest at 607-746-3220.

Annual Meeting--Our Annual Meeting will be held at the Cafe' on the Green, Scotch Mountain Road, Delhi, New York (607-746-4792)  on Thursday,
October 2 at Noon.  If you plan on attending, please call Ann Law at 607-829-8787, ASAP.

 Have you heard about ATC (Art Trading Cards)?  These little works of art are created to trade with others.  The size of each piece should be 2-1/2”x3-1/2”.  They can be any medium on any surface.  We are asking everyone to bring at least one piece to the meeting and we will trade.  You can go on the web to see samples and learn more about them:

               Delhi Chicken BBQ--Friday, October 17th from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.  We need volunteers for 1 hour shifts.  This is our one fundraiser.  Please show you support.  Whether you are free to volunteer that day or not, please stop by to buy your chicken!  Call Susan Priest at (607-746-3220) to volunteer.

Group Theme Show----This will be an exciting show where our members will exhibit their interpretation of the theme in their unique style.  The show will be held at Fox Care, Oneonta, New York, in December.  Everyone is invited to participate. What is your take on the theme.....ALONE?
