Workshops
A collage workshop with Kay Parisi-Hampel,
will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the
Immanuel Lutheran Church basement, 565 Andes Road, Delhi, New York.
The fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. To make a
reservation and for a list of supplies to bring for the workshop
call Kay at 607-363-7303 or email
khampel@delhiartgroup.org.
Please call Susan Priest (607-746-3220) if you are interested in attending
an acrylic or watercolor workshop and we will set up those workshops.
Annual Meeting
We have two
possible dates set.. Saturday, October 2nd or Thursday, October 7th.
Either one will be a luncheon. We need to know if you would want to
meet at a restaurant or have a pot luck. Call Susan Priest,

Group Art
Shows
We were a HUGE
success at the Senator Charles D. Cook County Building. We received
a lovely thank you from them for our fabulous show. We hope to do
this again next year. Plan now to participate.
Don't forget the
great opportunity we offer with our Holiday Show in December every year at
Fox Care, Oneonta, New York. This year's theme
is "My Favorite." Hanging in the main lobby of Fox Care, Oneonta,
will be on December 1st at 10 A.M. Every member is invited to
participate. Take down will be on Monday, January 3, 2011.

Harvest Festival,
Delhi, New York
This annual
festival will be on a Saturday, September 25, 2010. Please consider showing
with us. The cost will be $10 per member. Checks can be
mailed to Ann Law, 11646 State Highway 357, Franklin, New York 13775. This is in
conjunction with parents' weekend at SUNY Delhi. Last year's
participants did very well in sales. DAG will have its usual
spot in front of the Senator Charles D. Cook County Building (rain or
shine). Hope to see you there this
fall.
Fund Raiser
We will once again
be selling chicken by Wilson's BBQ on Friday, October 15, 2010. We
need volunteers for one hour time slots beginning at 10 A.M. You can
call Susan Priest at 607-746-3220 to volunteer. The chicken is
usually sold out by 1 P.M. If you cannot volunteer to help, please
stop by in Delhi and buy some chicken. This is our chance to make
some money to meet our expenses. Thank you in advance for your
support.

and women.
Jeanette Koji will
be teaching folk art at Camp 4C this year, August 27th and 28th.
Caroline Huyck,
one of DAG's founding members, suffered a stroke recently and is presently
in Fox Hospital. If you would like to send her a get-well card, her

A number of our
members donate their time and art to other organizations. If you
have done so in 2009-2010, please call our secretary, Kathy Moore, at

when we apply for grants. Thank you.
