CLASS CHANGES: The Children's Class,
Saturday, September 24th, plein air painting class will be held at the
Delhi Harvest Festival, Court House Square, Delhi, New York. Same
time--10:30-Noon, come to the DAG tent in front of the County Office
Building.
The Adult Drawing Class on October 13th is changed to October 6th, same
time and place.

Annual Meeting
Saturday, October 1,
2011 at 11 AM, in the basement of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 565 Andes
Road, Delhi, New York. We will be sharing lunch and discussing plans
for our future and reviewing last year's activities. Please call Kathy
Moore (607) 865-4734 to let us know that you will be attending and what
you would like to contribute for the luncheon.
Group Show - 2011
We hope you are
all creating art for our annual holiday show in in the Main Lobby
of Fox Care, Oneonta. All members are encourage to participate in
this show by submitting one piece of work, all mediums welcome. This year's show theme is "Season Favorite."
We will be hanging the show on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10 AM and take
down will be Monday, January 2, 2012 at 10 AM. Please call Sue
Priest to check on time and date changes in case of inclement weather:

Workshops
The,
"Life
Drawing" workshop presented by Sue Priest, was held on August 27, 2011.
The workshop was well attended and everyone enjoyed the lessons on figure drawing
and a chance to sketch two live models. View our

Harvest Festival
Saturday, September 24th. We need
more participation from our members this year or we will have to give up
our wonderful large space in front of the County Building. We pay
extra for this space and we need you to take advantage of this exposure
opportunity and the chance for great art sales. If we don't get your
support this year we will have to economize and reserve a smaller space
for the artists that regularly attend. Celebrate the beginning of
Fall and join us for this fun event. Call Susan Priest (607)

Fundraiser
Please mark your
calendars, Friday, October 21, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. we will
be selling Wilson's BBQ Chicken. This is our one
fundraiser of the year and we need EVERYONE to help. Please commit
to spend an hour to sell at our booth. If you can't, please come and
buy the delicious chicken! Put it on your calendar now and call Sue Priest
