ART CARDS FOR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN
July 12, 2010
1-3 P.M.
If you would like
to use your favorite medium and paint one or several greeting cards to
send to our servicemen and women in Afghanistan, please let Suzanne Arndt
know. Call her at 607-829-6753 or email her at
Suzarndt@aol.com (subject:
greeting cards). We will meet on Monday,July 12, 2010 at the Delhi Senior Community Center, 7 Main Street, Delhi,
New York from 1-3 P.M. to paint. Please bring your own medium
and supplies and DAG will supply the blank greeting cards. This would be
a nice way to express our appreciation to our servicemen and women.
First thought was to create patriotic designs. Then a suggestion was
made to paint scenes of Delaware County to remind them of home.
Either way, we hope you will join us.
