Drawing Class with Susan Priest --2nd and 4th Thursday of each month,
1:00-3:00 P.M., Immanuel Lutheran Church basement, 565 Andes Road,  Delhi, New York.

Drawing Class changes:  November 17, no class November 24, in December, the 8th only.  In January 2012, back to the normal schedule.

Children's Art Class with Susan Priest --4th Saturday of the month, 10:30 A.M. -Noon, classes held in the basement of the Immanuel Lutheran Church,

Children's Class changes: in November we will meet on Saturday, the 19th (not the 26th), 10:30 A.M. to Noon.  No class in December.  Back to regular schedule in January 2012.

Life Drawing Workshop

Sue Priest gave life drawing techniques and the workshop participants had a opportunity to sketch two live models using different mediums.

Crinkled Rice Paper Workshop
May 10, 2011

Jeanette Koji demonstrated the technique of using crinkled rice paper with various mediums to paint floral and landscapes.  Participants had an opportunity to try the technique with floral paintings.

                           Jeanette demonstrates floral technique--lilac on crinkled rice paper.

  
After the paint is applied to the rice paper it is crushed, wet and carefully unfolded.

 
More paint is applied to the wet  Masai rice paper to finish the painting.

2011 Group Art  Show

Don't forget the great opportunity we offer with our Holiday Show in December every year at Fox Care, Oneonta, New York.  This year's theme is "Seasons Favorite."  Hanging in the main lobby of Fox Care, Oneonta, will be on December 1st at 10 A.M.  Every member is invited to participate.  Take down will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
